Why Would I Do This?

It was a very difficult decision for me to post this information on a blog. But after years of being a Life Coach and a Mentor to others, assisting clients in creating abundance, I realized I must do this as the next step in helping more people to live their lives as abundantly as possible. I feel I have no choice but to share this transformation with as many people as possible.

My story is all here. From a very tired, extremely overweight widow of 57 years old, to a competitive athlete in just 8 months. But wait... from a size 18W-20W (that's big) to a size 4-6 in just 8 months... from a person who could barely climb a flight of stairs to a competitive Racewalker, a runner and Extreme Fitness Athlete.

The point is... If I CAN DO THIS "ANYBODY CAN"!

I hope in some small way, I can help to motivate just one person to take action and change their life forever!

Are You Controlling the Results in Your Life? Part I

The old adage of “What Goes Around, Comes Around” is more powerful in our lives than we could ever imagine. Those five words have been uttered from every one of us at some point.

We have all said it, we have all heard it from not only our parents, teachers, mentors and even in the media. But if we look at the results, the events and the people in our lives, we will see how the decisions we make, the actions or lack of action we take, the beliefs and our own expectations totally control our lives.

We will see that what goes around in our head and our actions, will always come back around to us.

As a long time Law of Attraction coach, I subscribe to a slightly different philosophy than most others in the industry. I believe the Law of Attraction truly does exist. I believe what we put out in our thoughts and our beliefs will determine what we get in life. But, I also believe it is the action we take which adds the fuel to the Law of Attraction.

Michael Lozier (LOA Author, Teacher and Mentor) says to ALLOW the Law of Attraction to bring your dreams to you. I totally subscribe to this belief, but I also know there is a hidden path of least resistance in this process. In my years of struggling in my life and also of great and amazing things happening, I know I attracted each and every result, good or bad.

I know the thinking big, the expectation of great things, the visualization, meditation, dream boards and on and on… ALL were a part of the many wonderful things, large incomes, beautiful homes and cars, ALL began in my head and came to fruition through my actions.

It was the actions coupled with the undeniable belief in my heart which actually brought all things together. Belief alone cannot end in good results, and action alone is the same. It takes action coupled with the belief, taking action KNOWING the action is proper and powerful, KNOWING the path is right for creating the preferred results.

For example, I have had a great deal of success in the Network Marketing industry. I started my Network Marketing businesses by setting goals, dreaming of the huge results and large teams of marketers. But in the end, it was the action I took of generating leads, following up with those leads and KNOWING this action would end with good results, that made me a success in the industry.

Nothing can replace “Taking Action”, but taking action must involve the correct, corresponding action to what you are looking to accomplish.

In the upcoming articles in this series, we will take a look at the types of actions required as well as how we determine what is coming to us, beginning with thoughts through to the end result.

To your UNSTOPPABLE success…

How Did I Lose 80 pounds????

Sorry friends, but diets DO NOT WORK. Only lifestyle changes do and I made a very difficult decision to change my lifestyle. I stopped living to eat and started eating to live.

I know, you have heard it a million times. Easy to say but "impossible" to do? NO, nothing is impossible. I did it. But I did have some help to do it right and do it for LIFE, my life!

From 2001 (yes, right after 9/11 when I lost my job of 28 years) until late 2004, I worked for Dr. Aaron Tabor at Physicians Pharmaceuticals. Not only did I lose my job, but I was beginning menopause at the same time. It was indeed a very stressful and difficult time for me. But, Dr.Tabor's research and expertise in the field of menopause helped me deal with the menopause without any drugs and his products were an absolute lifesaver. As I look back, I realize how much more stressful my life could have been had I not accepted the job with Dr. Tabor. My time working for him was certainly nothing less than a blessing.

When I left my job, three years later, I left with tremendous gratitude to the Tabors and the time that I had spent working for them.

After my husband's death in 2009 when I made the concious decision to get my health back, I decided to use Dr. Tabor's research and advice to support my decison and guide me. Not only was he an expert in the field of menopause, he was building quite a name for himself in the area of Weight Loss.

So, here I am, 80 pounds later, 80 pounds gone! His program helped ME to change my life forever! Not only is the weight gone, but it has helped me to completely change my lifestyle. But, I am the first to admit. No program will work when the head is not behind it. I knew and trusted Dr.Tabor completely. I knew that if I wanted to change things, I had to do it with good research, good advice and with my health in mind.

Oh yes, I exercised too, but not until I had dropped about 30 pounds and was able to exercise. I still use the products today to help me maintain and sometimes take a few extra pounds off.

I am so very grateful to Dr. Tabor and his Slim & Beautiful Diet.

As I mentioned before though, the head must be in the right place and thus, this website. I want to share with you the mental changes it took to make this all happen as well. Stay with me...

To your unstoppable success...

Can We Change Into Entirely Different People?

I find myself answering this question a great deal. Before I give you my answer, let me just take a moment to talk a bit about why I am asked this.

Who we are is often determined by the people who most influence our lives at the time. We are always telling our children "You are the company you keep", right? We are the people who influence us, who advise us, who motivate and inspire us and the people who we love and cherish.

When primary people in our lives are no longer on earth, then we have some choices to make. We either stay who we were with them here, or we place them in a very special place in our hearts and move on to the next person we are to become.

When I made the concious decision to become "ME" instead of my husband's widow, EVERYTHING in my life changed! I made a series of decisions concerning who I really wanted to be, where my passion was ignited and even where I wanted to live. This series of decisions clearly described an entirely different person than the one looking back in my mirror.

So, the answer to my own question is a resounding YES. But, here is the deciding factor. Yes, we can change, but WE have the choice. We can either choose to be who we are today or choose to be something else. Of course, we can only hope the concious decision involves becoming a Better person than we are today, but the decision is the same, only the result is flexible.

Regardless of where your passions for change are, be it weight, physical fitness, health, prosperity or success, the results are entirely up to you.

You can sit on your laurels and decide to accept who you are today or you can step up to the plate and change who you are into the person you really want to be.

Take some serious time to evaluate your true self and who you want to look back at you when you look into the mirror. Take a look at your passions, your desires and the vision you have of your future.

The , stay with me as we talk a great deal about how to make this change into an Entirely Different Person. I would love to help you accomplish your goals.

Observation

Today, I am sitting in the Louisville International Airport standing by for flights home. While sitting here with time on my hands, having shopped every shop and checked out everything of interest, I am observing people.

My thoughts generated by this observation are in the direction of understanding for the challenges faced by so many people while struggling not only with their weight and health, but in who they truly are inside.

We so often define ourselves by what we see in the mirror. I do know this, as I too let the reflection identify who I was and maybe even today, still do to a degree. When we are overweight and unhealthy, we are invisible to the world. We do not want to be noticed or observed in anyway. We walk through an airport on a mission of just getting to our destination without being seen. We only hope that no one will look at us and think "that poor woman". I can remember hoping no one would know how young I truly was because my appearance did not match who I was inside. I did not like myself and I did not want anyone to know how miserable I was inside.

Life is too short to live in misery. ANYONE, yes anyone can take control of their life. Anyone who CHOOSES to be who they truly want to be can do so. All it takes is the commitment to yourself.

I know that I make it sound easy but from experience, the hardest thing is the decision, along with the commitment to yourself. We all deserve to be happy, energetic and live life to the fullest. We do not deserve to live in misery about our appearance, our weight, or our health. We deserve the best life has to offer. It is a God given right to create our lives and live it to the fullest.

In my observation today, I am tremendously moved to tell everyone who is where I once was...

"Just Do It"

Take life by the horns, grab all that you deserve, grab all that you want. Be unstoppable. Be who you want to be, be who you truly are. Get up and move, get up and get healthy. No one and I really mean NO ONE is going to do it for you. You must do it for yourself.

When you are past this point in life and you look back to see who you once were, you will be proud of yourself, you will feel empowered and know YOU CAN DO ANYTHING you want to do. But it takes:

1) Decision
2) Commitment
3) Action
4) Belief

Just do it!

It Begins with a Decision

It is so easy to find excuses. We can use every avenue of escape imaginable to justify where we are in our lives. But the truth will always be the same if we just take a very deep look within.

"We are Where We are Because of Decisions and Actions We Have Taken!" Nothing more and nothing less.

When my husband died in 2009, it would have been very easy for me to take the low road. To feel sorry for myself and get even more pathetic about my physical condition and my health. To say that the time spent at the hospitals and the 24 hours per day caring for him, put me in a place where I could not turn back.

I could have easily accepted my age of 57 years old as being too old to change, too old to get healthy or too old to live again. That would have been the easy road and believe me, it was very tempting and very hard to not fall into that trap.

While dealing with the pain, I was working on getting my thoughts together, it occurred to me that first of all, Jerry would have never wanted me to just give up or give in and 2nd, it was not in my nature to take the easy way out of anything. I had to take some drastic action.

Jerry died on March 11, 2009. I decided even before the service that April 1st would be my "drop dead" date. I would do something dramatic about my life on April 1st. At that point, I was not sure what it would be, but it would be something. I stayed with my son until April 1st. On my 6 hour drive home I felt an energy overtake me. Yes, I was in a great deal of pain but I knew that I could turn the pain over to God and He would help me do whatever I needed to do.

On that drive home, my life changed dramatically. Dealing with the loss would be a long process, but dealing with me could be an adventure and I decided right then and there, to make my life an adventure in some way. I decided to TAKE CONTROL ONCE AND FOR ALL.

At that point, I did not know how or where to begin, but the decision was made. There were no other options for me. The only choice was taking control of my life, my health and my future. Boy was I in for quite a ride!

The hardest part was behind me, the decision was made. Understand this if nothing else...

When you make a decision at the level of eliminating all other options, there is only one route to take. Excuses and failure are NOT an option. The ONLY option is success. Nothing can stop you when you make a decision at this level. It is not a hope, a dream or something to "TRY", success is the only option.

The Transformation Process

This week I took the major step of starting my BlogTalkRadio.com show up again. Why was this such a huge step for me? Because it is something that requires me to "put myself out there", to expose myself and my inner feelings to the world.

In the hayday of my business (pre-widow days), I found it very easy to step up and talk about who I was, what I was thinking and the inspiring things in my life. Let's face it, when you are highly successful, you are on top of the world and in a place where people want to hear what you have to say.

But life does not always allow us to continue on the same path. We have interruptions, distractions and sometimes, we take great falls. Which is exactly what happened to me. I not only fell, I crashed and burned.

But once I made the decision to step up to the plate again and declare who I am to the world, I began to climb out of the hole I was in. Once I decided to recreate myself and take my life back, things began to happen and they continue I continue moving forward every day. But it was not by accident, it was by DESIGN. I have been designing my life for the past year. I have been creating a future for myself that involves the person I truly am.

First, I planned what I wanted my lifet to look like and then I planned how to get there. Now I wish I could say the process is easy, but it is not. It has been one of the hardest things I have ever done (if not THE hardest thing) and will continue to be. It requires me to look deep into myself, to identify the good and the bad. It requires that I deal with a lot of my internal pain and yes, especially my own numerous short-comings. It is a process of self discovery and self cleaning.

This is an ongoing process, but one necessary for anyone who wants to move from where they are to a better place. It requires, decision, determination and commitment. It requires a lot of work.

But the work is very rewarding. When I look in a mirror today, I don't see what I want to see yet, but I see the process I have been through. I see how the work has paid off for me and the affect the work will have on my entire life and the people around me.

Transformation is a journey... A very long, difficult but fulfilling journey. It is one available to anyone at any level of life. Anything worth wanting, can be had as long as we make the decision and have a clear vision of what we are working toward.

The process continues...

To your unstoppable success...

What is Transformation?

Life is a never ending process. It is a journey which takes us in different directions. Sometimes we just go with the flow and accept life as it comes, just making the best and getting by.
Sometimes we take life by the horns and manipulate it to be what it should be. We manipulate the best case from that which is dealt to us.
This is the point where transformation begins. It is a point where we intentionally change the way we think, the way we see things around us and the way we respond to those things. It is a time when we start to create for ourselves the very best we can experience.
Transformation takes a hard decision. It is hard because it is normally not what you want to look deeply into. For example, my weight. It was easier to say that I had fat genes, had experienced too many injuries to exercise and my health was not good enough to diet. That would have been the easy road and was the road I took for a very long time.
But after my husband died from cancer, I realized I could only live my life if I "Recreated" it. The person I had become was NOT the person who lived inside of me. The person I was on the outside was tired but the person inside wanted to live life and be an example of what was possible. I had to become the person I was intended to be. I had to RECREATE my life. This is where my transformation began.
